The Institute of Sexuality and Gender-Renmin University of China, and the Beijing Gender Health Education Institute, cooperated to organise the "HIV/AIDS Prevention Research for the MSM population: A Forum for Multidisciplinary Participation and Information Sharing." The forum hosted a number of key domestic experts on this issue to reveal and discuss their research findings and establish a platform for research sharing and academic exchange, as well as facilitate pluralistic participation and mutual-benefit for all participants.
The Forum aims to facilitate domestic HIV/AIDS prevention research,and provide multiple areas of research, including interdisciplinary researchers, the opportunity to exchange and share their findings, and to encourage collaboration of efforts and services in HIV/AIDS prevention work, particularly for MSM.
This Forum was held on December 19th, 2007, in Beijing.
The Forum Aims:
1, To promote interdisciplinary cooperation in HIV/AIDS prevention work amongst the MSM population.

2, To promote research and resource integration and sharing.
3, To exchange research experiences in pluralistic cooperation, and promote truth-seeking, pragmatic, innovative and effective epistemology and methodology in HIV/AIDS prevention research.
4, Promote the implementation of research findings.
5, To launch the "multiple participation and sharing" Forum, and discuss the feasibility of a sustainable model for this activity.
