Guo Yaqi and Tong Ge Gave Lectures on Issues of Sexual Minor

 On October 29, Chief of Beijing Gender Health Education Institute (GHE) Guo Yaqi, and on November 6 and 7, Chief Expert of GHE Tong Ge were invited to “Homosexual Health Intervention Courses” held by School of Public Health, Fudan University to give special lectures.

Guo Yaqi talked about “Strategies and Methods of AIDS Intervention of MSM”.  Based on his own research on sexuality, in these two lectures Tong Ge talked about diverse existence of MSM activities, commercial sex in MSM community, epistemology and methodology of research on sexuality.

Graduates from School of Public Health, Fudan University, students from School of Journalism and Communication (Fudan University), Shanghai University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and people from some social organizations attended the lectures.

After lectures, Guo Yaqi and Tong Ge answered some questions from the audience.

While in Shanghai, they also exchanged their opinions with some teachers and students of universities, community organizations, scholars and media personnel.  Tong Ge also received a TV interview from School of Journalism and Communication, Fudan University, and expressed his point of view on questions interviewers were concerned with.
