Chief of GHE Guo Yaqi Was Invited to Hunan and Jiangxi to Su

As chair expert of National Center for STD and AIDS Prevention and Control (NCAIDS), Guo Yaqi, Chief of Beijing Gender Health Education Institute (GHE) has been in Changsha and Changde of Hunan Province, Nanchang and Jiujiang of Jiangxi Province to give supervision on the pilot work of comprehensive AIDS prevention among MSM communities from August 25 to 29, 2008, together with Xu Jie, an official from Intervention Office of NCAIDS.  By the ways of seminars, discussion and spot investigation, they acquainted themselves with current situation of the pilot work, discussed related problems and offered assistance in solving them.  Afterwards, at the invitation of CDC of Jiangxi Province, Guo joined the Symposium on AIDS Prevention of MSM Communities in Jiangxi Province, in which he discussed and communicated with attendees on various issues, such as “Skills and approaches in MSM intervention”, “How to conduct safe sex”, “How to carry out effective communication during intervention”, “Opportunities and challenges confronting MSM Intervention”, and so on.
